Tried to start the 2001 Shasta motorhome tonight and nothing, won't start. Long story short, no fuel pressure. Sounds like the fuel pump is trying to work but isn't. It's the Ford E450 Chassis, v10 engine. Do you happen to know how much a fuel pump is going to cost? |

A couple questions. Do you hear the fuelpump running? How did you test for fuel pressure? PM me the last 8 digits of your VIN and I will get you a price on a pump and run it for service messages. |

He pushed the schrader valve? on the right rear of the intake and nothing. You can just hear the pump, but it doesn't sound normal, sounds like it's seized up. Checking the power with a meter it sees 12 volts, but only for a second, then goes to 6 volts, we applied a full 12 to the pump but it didn't sound like it would break free. I'll have to ask Carol to send me the vin#, I'll post it in a minute. Any ideas or are we doing something incorrect? RICK MILLER wrote: A couple questions. Do you hear the fuelpump running?
