OK, here goes.. A few years back... 3400lbs, th400, nos fogger with 40 pills in it, 4 link, big tire, single four, 8.3's on spray...I'm gunna guess that you will be in the mid to high 8's depend on how much hp you make without the NOS....Plus I don't think you will be able to hit as hard as I did off the line.... Man, that car left vilently....ahhj the good ol days.... he he he

Party? I missed out I guess, sounds like it was fun from all the chat.
Thanks for the input guys, I only need to get to 9.0 to be competitive in the heads up Super Street class i run in. Was alittle shy last year with 462, could only run low 9.30s on a 200hp jets, I am hoping with just a small set of jets to be able to dial 9.0s,

Thanks John

I hope your's will go that fast, that means mine ought to be right there with ya LOL. I'm sticking with my old 505, but going to shoot a little more to make up for the smaller ci. What's with the 110 sep? I thought almost everyone wanted the 113-114 or so on a nitrous motor?

OK, you big motor guys, here's some more info for you. Kevin, Willy that had the other grudge match, and ALSO lost at the CFSC has an almost identical motor to this one that he wants to build. Here's whats in it.

522 inches, 4340 4" crank with 6.385 buy Eagle, pistons are JE's 14 to 1. Ported 320 from Sonny's. Comp 7xx. lift cam and stuff. Started with a Dart intake, now runs a "Super Vic". 1050 carb MSD and a Big shot. No this was a complete package from Sonny. T400 with brake, 3100 lbs '78 Trans Am with coilovers and ladderbar. On 114 Octane race gas, runs consistant 10.3's on the motor. BEST with a 300 hit was 9.31 BEST. Check out the World Street Race stuff as he's on the Canadian team.

I do know of a COMPLETE 540 For Sale as well. All the good go fast stuff. Complete from Air cleaner to pan with Nitrous system, ign. everything for the asking price of $15,000.00 CANADIAN. Now this one on ET. Streets 30 x 13.5, thru the flowmasters in a 3350 lbs Chevelle did go 8.41's. It's out of the same shop I deal with, one weekend on the motor last I heard. Switching to a Big Chief motor.

John I hope this helps. Good luck with the car. John

505nova 110 is because I bracket race the car most of the time, and will only spray once a month at Street Tire Shootout races. My 460 ran 10.30 on motor bracket racing and 9.30s on 200 jets, I had to put wheelie bars on it with the 200 jets also due to a header clearencing pass, lol
Hopin she rips with the 540!!!!, I am a strong believer in building my own motors, That way if it breaks I can blame my partner,,,lol cya John

I'd say 8.50's as well, you won't have to spray much at all to run the
super street class, which is good!! :D
