No church for me today. Thanksgiving is four days away and guess who's cooking? The menu so far is turkey, stuffing & gravy, pork & sauerkraut, roasted peppers, lasagna, broccoli casserole, corn, sweet potatoes casserole, mashed potatoes, applesauce, pumpkin pie, blueberry pie (mind ya, all this stuff is homemade) AND A LOT OF WINE. (is it too early to start drinking the wine?) I know the other women here can relate. This meal is a lot of work, but the leftovers make it all worth it!

Dinner is at 4 boys. And not to toot my own horn, but I make a damn good bird! (gotta love those Butterball...Turkey's) Monty, you're such a good boy! My favorite mass used to be the midnight Christmas mass. Just about everyone was hammered. Those were the days... |
