My son has EA Sports', Need for Speed, Carbon (disk for Wii).

he has beat the whole game & is @ the end of it where he is racing the big boss through the canyons for the "last race". he gets all the way through the race & gets accross this bridge & all of a sudden his car stops & the opponent flys by & wins the race. it says something like

"you came in 2nd place", "do you want to:
A: start over
B: continue
C: save & quit

he's done this a few times & he is convinced that its a "glitch" or "bug" in the game. I saw it happen today. & it happens just like he said.

.............. You (or anyone) know whats wrong with this game???

a canyon race is based on points. when he goes first the closer you are to him the more points you gain and the further away from him the least points you gain. and when its your turn, the closer he is to you the more points you lose and the further away he is from you the less point you lose. also you run out of points before you cross the finish line you lose.

So, If I get this right, in order for him to actually "win" the race, he has to either have a huge lead @ the end or he has to be behind the other guy, but right up on his bumper.

is that right??

sort of. it's about the "points"

if yer behind him, stay close. if yer ahead of him put some distance on him. basically go as fast as you can at all times and get the points.
