Kevin, Seriously I want you to check this out. http://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/ ... 3hist1.htm Go to the federal reserve website, data which is available for everyone to see. Look specifically at the second column over which is Non-Borrowed Funds or the Reserves that the Federal Reserve actually has, as you scroll down threw the years you can see they keep it pretty steady at around 40,000 which I think is Billions, but as you get to the bottom, look what has happened..............They are in the negative, first time ever. NOT GOOD AT ALL. Also the Federal Reserve has nothing to do with our government, it is a privately owned business by the biggest bankers, but they do lend all funds to our government and the interest they recieve from the government as I understand it is all paid by our federal income tax which is illegal also. I won't go into detail as I don't have all day but Happy Thursday. |

It was only a matter of time till it hit these other sectors when we don't have money to buy their products and services... http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 3.html?g=1 Just as an example. Ford had 99,000 hourly workers in 2001. Today they have 57,000 and they want to cut more. Where do you think those jobs went? And where do you think those 42,000 people are working now? Do you think they are spending as much as they used to? |

"the slowing is broad based" well............ duh......... dumbass!!!! I feel bad for you guys tied to the auto industry. for better or worse, we have a lot of international sales so when the US$ tanks the international D$ is strong & we get more international sales. when the US$ is strong, the US customers tend to spend & the international customers dont spend as much. weve grown every year Ive been here (one year it was almost nothing, but it was still growth).
