I already got bored with the initial design here at bbnovaracing. (i've been told i'm a perfectionist) I'd like a little input on the design now. I'm fairly satisfied with it. Also, this is a good time to remind all forum users, you can go to profile and change the look and feel for just yourself. On the site though, please select which monitor resolution you are using. I'd like to open up the width of the pages a bit to give it a tad more room. |

Looks extremely good Chris, I guess those are the tools you needed to install on your comp lol, awesome graphic at the top and much more pleasing to the eye. I happen to like a darker background. I have dual 21's both at 1600X1200 of a Readon 9700 Pro card. I did the same kind of poll a while back on gDR and most of the users were still at 800X600. I personally feel that 1024X768 is a great resolution for most people, until websites start making use of the newest monitor settings. |

thanks 4mula. very cool of you to say. Ya, i know what u mean on the 1024. but what can we do? /shrug. I'm acutally thinking of next week adding a "user display control" option to bbnovaracing where the user can control which Resolution and theme. 90% of it's in already anyway. would just need to do the control interface. |

Are you using a Hack code for this ?, cause you really have to keep track of them for when the newer board updates come in, right now yours is working perfectly and some mods are good but not error proof. You seem like you have a great handle on it and I would believe that anything you're doing will work well in the future. I would also recommend that you or the others take time to add a link to your sigs on other boards, I click on them more than anything. Just my ยข.02. |

I'm thinking about doing it to the parts of the site not having to do with the forums. So any other page. The forums work flawless and I dont want to add any hacks to it. but the rest of the site I already control with 1 number as far as width goes. I could easily add an interface for that and the colors. I set kevins site up so that most of it is actually running from scripts. ezier for me to update/upgrade/etc. The HTMLs are actually calling many scripts each. So things like table colors/font colors/etc can be automated and stored on cookies in browsers if users want to have their own look and feel =) The hard part is going to be making new and differnt styles. but I have 2 done already |
