How was the decision made on where to attach the stock frame rails to the rest of the chassis Kevin. There's a ton of if's and about's on where the placement should be and just how much front clip you actually need.

To answer 4mula's question. So that there was no complaining, If you plumb bob the firewall that is where we decided to cut the frt subframe. I did a little research and it seams to fit most if not all rules that have a backhalf class. Why, any thoughts????

No, you probably already know just how petty most of the guys that run different frames can be, if you look at the f body setup, the normal practice is to insert the tube hrough the whole subframe and reweld it to make it look like it was just tapped on. In actuallity it is a true tube frame by doing it this way. I see where yours is and the plumb line seems a good place. I only ask this because of the ritual fighting in most of the "must use stock front frame rails" classes.
