Don't you have to agree. Again for the 3rd time since 9/11 I got laid off. This time the company said they planned on doing it just before Christmas, but due to the slowdown, it happened now. Like I'm now "classified" as some summertime help or something. Man this just sucks. The Plant sup. told me the previous week how well things were going and not to worry about the time I need to take off, a Friday and we only worked the mornings on Friday, for a surgury in 2 weeks. Now the CAW was there trying to unionize the place and I have surgury, and POW. Your out the door with a "golden handshake" and a kick in the ass. Just needed to vent. John :twisted:

I don't want to sound like a broken record here....Go self employed...its a pain in the butt in the begining....However it is so rewarding that they should outlaw it. I know a guy (Company name "POOPER SCOOPER's") He pick's up dog poop out of people's yard for like $16 a month...1 time a week...No investment....He has about 400 + - customers..So YOU are good at something....make your own job...I'll help you with it....I have talked over 25 people in my life into self employment! Each one of them thank me every time they see me.....The biggest gripe was....why they didn't listen to me sooner!!

Just so you know your not alone.
I've been layed off for almost 3 month so far and every week they tell me "just 2 more weeks" so I am still Waiting but hey "only 2 more weeks right?"

Everybody that paid taxes got money back........Check this out Last year Bush made 600k paid 29.8% income tax...Kerry made 6 million paid 11.8%...Kerry's wifes company outsourced more jobs than any of the Fortune 500 companies...DON'T GET ME STARTED. I just don't watch a couple of News clips and make an opiniun....I payed way more than my fair share than all of you...HOW is it that fair is a higher TAX RATE??? You are already paying more 'cause you made more....I purposely slow down as to keep my gross income low...if you got a better tax rate the more you earned...more people would work harder...like me....My Company is capable of doing double what it is doing....I need 2 more people here ...Bush wins I hire um...Kerry wins I don't...How many small companies are like me????Thousands..."S" Corps are the back bone of this country.....I am in the top 10% income range...but I am by NO means rich...BUT John Kerry says I am....

so you agree that the person making less should pay a bigger % in tax?
