I have a co worker who smells. How to I tell him without being rude? He is a good worker but I can not take the smell. It has to be bad because my nose is all broken and I have almost no sense of smell. Other employess have complained about him. He is kind of homeless at the time so he can not just go home and take a shower. |

I thought you worked with your sister? I'd tell your boss and have them deal with it. |

Sounds like a good plan. May be a good idea to have the other employees support your position. |

My sister has been out of the office for awhile now because of the cancer. So that pretty much leaves me as the boss. My brother in law is here but I am afraid that he will not approach the situation the right way. So that leaves me to deal with it. |

You made me think of an old thought from the early 90's. This guy we used to work with has a problem also. We told our boss. The boss asked him how often he showered and he told him every other Sunday. His boss told him no wonder he was 35 and single and said if he returned to work again without showering he would be fired. The problem was solved. |

Dogg... I just talked to him, he told me that he showered on Sunday. That is funny. The problem is that he is kind of homeless... So I told him to go to a truck stop and take a shower. |

The sad part is that about a week ago I told him that he could come to my house and shower. I live about a mile from the office. Well I spent all last weekend cleaning my house and I am not about to have stinky come into my house. My brother in law just asked if I smelled him today... I think the is going to say something to him as well. There is part of me that feels bad for him. But then again he also made the situation that he is in and there is no reason why he should not have an aprtment/someplace to take a shower. |
