Susie he is retired military. But when he retired we had no idea he would get hired so quick, 3 weeks after, so when we had to move out of base housing we got locked into a lease, enough sais there. He is in lovely Dubuque, Iowa, hahahaha. So e try to see each other about every other month. But now he is talking about going to Afghanistan, ( biggggg money). and we were talking last night about me and the youngest possibly moving to Italy for a year or two. The money is soo good that if he does 2 years neither of us would have to work again. Imagine 45 and 43 and retired.

Afghanistan... that is a tough decision to make nowadays... I see so many young kids going over there to do construction because of the money that they can make... they do not realize that it is not the same as being in the states and emitionally alot of them can not handle it... at least your husband has the experiences and the proper training from being military. If this is what he wants to do... Go for it...
