He told me he had a Speaker for in the helmet that you would hear better than earbuds.
He also does the installs in the helmet.
If you want to, tell him Jim From Dellroy Fire Dept sent you.... I don't know if that will help or not..... :)

Like Shannon said, buy what you want at one time, they're a lot cheaper.
Get UHF, If you go VHF they will probably put you on those same frequencies as the cheep ones you buy at walmart.
There's things you can do with PL coding to make it more private.
Trying to get another thing buzzing around in my pea brain with this radio programming...... :)
