Turns out what I feared it was (which is why I am not the tech) is not the case. The Vette Doctors transmission continues in its bulletproof configuration with well over 200 runs.

It was the output shaft on the rear that snapped.

New one being overnighted for tomorrow morning and we will be on the road Wednesday and on the track for the Vette Viper race at New England Dragway this Saturday, Oct 16th.


Thanks again to all who helped me out yesterday and have expressed concern for my broken car.
