Southwest is alright! I thought there was going to be a problem when I left Austin cause they had me carry the camera case over to the 'special' line where it gets 'specal' treatment. When I say 'special' I mean terrorist So anyway, last night, when I got into BWI after going through Houston apparently the camera wasn't with me. After everyone left the baggage claim area and the conveyer stopped I knew there was a problem. I walked over to the Southwest baggage claim office and explained the situation and the girl gave me 2 choices:

1) I could patiently wait for the next flights from Austion and Houston to arrive to see if my stuff got placed on one of those flights, or
2) I could come back later and pick up my stuff.

Problem is I live 70 miles from BWI and at that point I just wanted to go home and sleep. I also wasn't going to drive all the way back to pick up a bag that they lost! And I told the girl that. She says "Well, would it be easier for you to pick up your bag at Philadelphia?" I say "Sure!" So I was off and my camera was headed to PHL via Manchester.

Someone from BWI called this morning to let me know that my bag had surfaced overnight and it was put on a plane to Manchester, shortly after I got a call from Manchester saying that my bag arrived and was placed on a plane to PHL. Then at like 11:30 Southwest PHL called and said my stuff arrived and come pick it up!

So, although Southwest *did* lose my stuff to begin with they still get an A in the end. I like Southwest.
