It's a pretty nice day today. I think I might go fishing tomorrow morning if the weather holds out...

Nope the Heron didn't get any. I checked the water and the Ni content was too high. I added some bio-bacteria and the fish are all happy once again. There is about 100 babies swimming around that pond. :D :D

Go ahead Kevin.. I know your dying to post!!!

They all stay in the pond. I had 4 of them die last year from brain damage. I tried to save 2 of them, but they were too far gone.  The bottom 18" of the pond does not freeze. I am going to install a heater in the pond this season for them to stay near. The waterfall and bio-filter run year around. Them things are very happy and friendly.. I know their just fish, but they have a personallity and eat from your hand.. Pretty cool fish.. :D :D

Sounds cool . All our fish are in tanks in the house. Thought I'd like to try a pond but we live next to the woods . I think all fish would just end up as food
