It has been over 18 months since the invasion of Iraq started. We the people of America were led to believe that Saddam posed weapons of mass destruction. "The threat of Saddam is there" stated our honest government. Saddam has been captured for sometime now. So his threat no longer exists. 18 months and not one weapon was found. Bush stated "They can launch a missile and it can be here in 40 minutes" This played on our fears. We bought into it. Well here we are with over 1000 soldiers killed and many more wounded. I stated from the get go that this war was about oil. I was called everything from a sandnigger to a terrorist. Now the story is unfolding and people seem to think "who really cares? Let’s just nuke them and take their oil"

I will state this again... This war is about oil and not terror. Just like the war on drugs, this war will never be fought honestly, but used as a money making machine. Let’s take a close look at our war on drugs... The CIA controlled most of the importing of these drugs. It was brought to light and suddenly we turned our focus on another unjust war. Was that war possibly made up to cover the CIA? Who knows? All I know is it was never brought back to light. The drugs our kids bought yesterday can still be bought today. There was no slowdown period on these drugs!!!

I couldnt agree with you more...........even the way Bush got into the presidentcy is bs I used to make $60g per year before bush now I'm scrapin just to make it by I personally do not think Kerry is the answer but How much worse can it be ? just my 2 cents...................

I cannot say much nor will i on a public board except this.......dont ever believe what you see on tv or read in the paper, it is all BS. A select few people know what really goes on in this country, and many more can speculate. But it is surely not the crap they feed everyone. there are so many levels i cant even being to explain but more out of fear of what might happen if i do.

I am with you, i love my country but i have other opinions on our so-called government.
