is getting out of hand over here.....I grew up 7 houses away from mike Moran and can remember sitting on his pinto's radiator priming his engine when i was a freshman in highschool....Mike used to take me out street racing all the time and infected me with this drag racing virus.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.................Ive got this 2001 s-10 blazer...2 door, 2 wheel drive, thats my daily driver.........My buddy that lives 5 houses away has this 2000 ford ranger......Well, as fate would have it we ended up side by side at a red light about a year ago.......the light turns green and my 4.3 beat up on his little 4 liter.........now the problem here is my buddy just happens to be Morans right hand man Matt..( i also grew up with Matt and introduced him to Mike)....if you've ever been to his shop or at his pits, he's the one that looks like he could be Morans little brother......next thing i know the little ranger comes tooling down the street with a flowmaster on it.......sooooooooo, the cat comes of my blazer and a flowmaster with a 3" dump in front of the rear goes in place.........then I find out he'd done some kinda air box hack ....soooooooo I get the K&N FPIKII system........then my dad (MR BILL) gets the same K&N for his blazer but along with a billet servo in his trans and a Granetelli Mass Air Meter for his blazer from Mike.......the next thing I know my dad's callin me out with his 4 door 4 wheel drive.....WTF......I beat him, but not by much so before I go back for the ranger again,----- MSD6a box and coil go on mine, along with a Granetelli Mass Air Meter and throttle body spacer..........while im out playing with the new toys, I break the spiders in the rear.....no big deal, get them replaced and go out playing again and break my 3.42 ring and pinion.....well since its apart and I have to get a new ring and pinion, i call up mike and see if he can get me a deal on a 3.73..............and I just happened to stumble upon a brand new EATON POSI on eaby for 100 buck.....haha, no more 1 leggers here and ive got a 3.73 now........Ok, i go and call out the ranger and put it on him pretty good now....then he calls out his boy with a 2002 sierra........I thought I was done for....nope, put it on the sierra too........after that, i remember that my EX had gotten me a nitrous kit for christmas for my blazer, so off comes the throttel body and i tap it out for a nozzel.......get the nozzel on, but havent put the solenoids on yet or any wires........bout 3 weeks agao, my buddy with the ranger craked a head.......so I help him pull the motor and he dissapears to mike's shop for 2 weeks, the calls me and says he's got a new set of heads and he's gunna throw the motor back together....I say ok, call me when you get home and I'll help..........well about an hour goes by and i walk down my driveway and see his car in his drive and find out he's in his garage with all the doors locked and windows covered puttin his motor back together all by himself....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm wtf did he do???????????????????.......he calls me several hours later and says come by......I get there and the motor is back together and sitting on the stand, hmmmmmmm guess he didnt want me to see what the heads or whatelse went into this engine looks like...........so we throw the engine back in the truck and turn the key and this thing sounds like a FU@#!ng 2 stroke......this thing rev's like no tomorrow........im thinking what the hell did he do.....????......now he says, go get the blazer......uht-oh, im in fur an azZ whoopin I think........we line up and I let hime leave but he doesnt stay in front for long, I shift into second and now im pulling on him......he drives up next to me again and we try it from a 25mph roll......same thing, i let him leave then real him in and pass him............I guess he didnt take this to well cuz he called a friend of our with and old f-150 with a wore out windsor in it and now i fine my self out on the east side at one of the racing spots, racing this f-150...........haha i won......pretty bad........now my firend with the f-150 didnt take that to well and the next time we talk it a saturday bout, 3 am and im heading back down to the same street on the east-side to take on his 2004 Taurus...., well the taurus put up more of a fight than the f-150 did, but still lost..........this was last week......saturday at 3am my cell rings, and it the guy with the taurus....he says his brother is out at warren and livernois and wants a peice of my blazer..........i say no, im bout to go to bed...........the he crossed the line, he says, well whenever i grow some nutz to call him up and come play with the big boys....my ego takes over and im off to livernois.........but before I leave i run out to the garage and grab a can of that PRO-Blend stuff you see in the back of hot-rod mags, that's supposed to give and extra 30 horsepower and pour it into the tank....( its got 30% nitromethane in it ).........I show up at livernois and warren .....and guess what his brother is driving..???????? give up..???....an '87 5.0 mustang, stick on slicks and i see a compucar bottle in the hatch.......WTF im thinking all this cuz I beat up on a taurus.........??????????????????????????????????????....this iz just wrong, but i line up anyway and get my azz handed to me.........so all day today ive been looking around online for go fast goodies for my little 4.3 to try and beat up on this 5.0 .........ive found a set of 4.3 heads with 2.02 valves for $1700.......a new cam, even a set of headers and a place to send my PCM out to get re-flashed for the nitrous kit im gunna hook up this week..........when will the sickness end.?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
