Don't know yet Kevin...any suggestions? The cowl hood I have now is 8"+.

I did an A/B test a couple years back. Hood scoop vs cowl hood. With the hood scoop, I went a full tenth of second faster. Seeing as you already bought the cowl hood, I would definately find a way to feed the motor from the front and not the back.... Hope this helps...

Thanks....I will do something in the long run over the winter to optimize the combination. :)
