Thanks guys for the warm welcome.I gotta tell ya my first car that I got when I received my liscense in 1974 was a 1969 Camaro SS 4spd car that originally was a 396 car but someone snuck a 427 L-88 in it! Then one day in 1977 I bought a rare 1968 Nova SS 396 (1 of 901) 4spd car with only 13000 miles from the 2nd owner.By that time it had a 454 LS6 motor in it.He also gave me a 427 with aluminum heads, torker manifold and 900 CFM holley 3 BBL with the car,all for $2000.00 !!!I ended putting the 427 in it and also a vertical gate shifter.Car was nasty as hell.Anyway my friend wanted the car real bad but he didn't want the 427 BB,so I sold him the car w/o the motor. He ended up putting a little mouse motor in it,ruin the car as far as I'm concern. Then came the year 2000 and I found her and bought her back, now has a 68 396/375 motor.I'm toying with the idea of putting a 69 L-88 427 in it that I have.Anyway back in 2001 I believe I brought a picture of my car to GM of Carlisle in PA and Grumpy Bill Jenkins was there signing autographs,so I had him sign a picture of this car which looks identical to his, white with black top.
