Let me clear the air a little :D
I didn't see anyone cheating, I've never even heard that someone is cheating.
Are their people cheating, hell yes there are, LOL. Do I care, NOPE.
Unfortunately I had to leave and didn't get to see the semi's nor the finals :( , it was a long weekend and I did want to get home.
The racers I help out don't have a problem with anyone, Trust me they don't care and are not involved in the politics, but some of the people are.
Who drives the bass boat painted S10 Blazer?? Is that your husband Susie?? He and I sat there chatting and laughing our asses off at these
guys. It was quite humorous to watch, but on the other hand it's a shame
it was going on at the same time.
Sounds like alot of others things I was aware of were going on also.

No that is dave (bass boat  ) he is a family friend... seriously... if you see something that is being done wrong/half assed call mike and bring it to his attention... it is just like you said why do something if it is not being done right. it is a waste of time to have all these people just sitting out there in the hot sun if it is not going serve a purpose.... opps i just realized you were down there with dave when he was really mad at me...

If ya don't have a Dog in the Hunt Don't bother the staff........I took 3 calls today (and I have nothing to do with rules ect PERIOD) one call was lagit....and I found the right person and got it handled....the other 2 were maybe/wanna be/neverwere Racers......Keep makin a Big Fuss and when theres no where to Race you can blame yourself......If you were the Effected one do the right thing and talk to the effecting person.....before it gets blown out of control.....somebody will see this thread add a few things to make it juicer post it somewhere else....and so on......its not fun runnig/Helping run a Race Series....4 years ago I got back into it and saw they needed help.....next thing you know its 4 years later 5 cars sitting I'm helpin and gettin real tired of complainers.....And Racing at my Local Track when I get time......I could be running fast in Local 10.5 stuff if I wouldn't have got involved (and slept in my own bed) .....Its gettin old fast!!!! for me and others.....

I shouldn't have posted anything, I got all rialed up yesturday thinking about all the bs I saw and heard. I let it all build up over the past 3 years and I exsploded and I'm sorry for that. I need to do what everyone else does, and that's let in go in one ear and out the other, I guess it's just racing. I wish people would just go have fun instead of pointing the finger at people. I honestly won't be helping any more race teams as I can't handel the politics anymore. The BS is getting way to deep for my taste. My car is almost done. I still have to find a crew to help me, so I'm in the perfect position right now to set the rules of my team and one of them is I don't want to hear "racer politics" period. I'm out to have fun, race the local track and some NMCA and/or NSCA events if I have the funds to do so, if I can complete, that's a bonus, my my motto will be I'm racing myself and no one else. My goals will be to beat my best et everytime I go down the track and that's about it. Getting all caught up in the bs isn't for me anymore, I'll just ignore comments made to me, I'll look the other way when I see silly things being done and continue on, if I don't I'll end up helping out to make the situation a better one and to be honest I'd really like to do that, but unfortunately I don't have the time it take to do so. So
I'll just shut up !!

Don't get me wrong Dog.....If ya got a problem deal with That person.....I'm more talkin about the ________ that complain and don't go to the Races.....I used to get pissed at Patrick Budd for not returning Phone calls......Now I understand why.....People are ignorant and know everything.....yet they are not in control of their own lives (They know how to run a race series yet work at 7-11) The inner works of the Race Series is something if you have not been there....you would never understand.......now that I'm there I look at some issue's and say I wouldn't want to rule on that  'cause somebody's gonna hate you.....Its a tuff gig running a Race Series.....yet some think Patrick, Tony D., Rob B.........sit around and say "Who can we Screw with Next" not the case at all

Props to ya DOGG, thats a giant step and it will make your team a better team for your efforts. Jimmy is right, and if someone is doing something they shouldn't be, believe me they will reap what they sew at some point.

Just like that silver mustang from Friday night (no names please) in outlaw

Dogg that's a good attitude to run with. There's no sense in getting all worked up over stuff that is supposed to be fun. I used to help wrench for some dirt track guys for a few years running modifieds, same story. People get so serious about it that it ends up not being not fun anymore. My brother in law still runs that stuff, last time I was at the local dirt races there were two fights, one a cat fight and another between guys. I've seen flagman hauled off a flagpole and beaten (for black flagging someone), fights in the stands between old ladys, you name it.

That's when I started getting back into drag racing, just to go have fun, not have to rebuild the car every week and not see all the crazy antics. Now this year that I'm trying to get a car going for 10.5 racing I'm starting to see it again in the our local shootout classes, and it's only the first year.. Argh..
