ok to get text like this:

all you do is pick the primary text color....then right click on the text in your layers box & go to blending options. then click drop shadow and in the drop shadow tab under blend mode switch it to normal, then pick your underlying color, in this case white. thats it! :)

oh, the font is "rapier let"

For text like this, i used the "impact" font

...all you do is type your words then rasterize the type. go to filter, stylize, then wind....and play with the settings :) this type also has the drop shadow like the other font.
